College Football:  

Oregon State's Joshua Gray and DJ Uiagalelei both received weekly honors by the Pac-12 following Saturday’s win over Cal. Gray has been named the conference's Offensive Lineman of the Week for the second time this season, while Uiagalelei has been selected as the Pac-12's Offensive Player of the Week. Gray and the 0 line racked up 499 total yards. DJ U was 19-of-25 for 275 yards and five touchdowns…that also earned him a spot on the Davey O'Brien Great 8 honors for the week. The Number 15 Beavers are back at Reser Saturday against number 18 UCLA for homecoming.

A couple of Heisman Trophy candidates add to the intrigue of this week’s top 10 matchup between the Ducks and Huskies. Bo Nix accounted for 4 touchdowns in the Colorado Game. Michael Penix Jr may be the leading Heisman contender who has thrown for almost two thousand yards in the first five games. Number 8 Oregon is at Number 7 Washington Saturday in Seattle at 12:30 here on KBND. 

Basketball: 

Pac-12 Women’s and Men’s Basketball Media Days are set for today and tomorrow in Las Vegas. The women’s coaches and players press conferences start at 9 today. Coach Kelly Graves and Oregon begin at 10:40. One of the players set to appear is Sophomore forward Grace VanSlooten who was named yesterday to the Pac-12 preseason all-conference team. Coach Scott Rueck and Oregon State will speak to the media at 11:05.

NBA- The Portland Trail Blazers take on the New Zealand Breakers in an exhibition tonight at 7 at the Moda Center. The first official preseason game is Thursday against Phoenix.

The Seahawks are coming off their bye week preparing to go on the road to face Cincinnati..
