Beavers, Huskies, Ducks CFB Midseason All-Americans

College Football:  

University  of Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson was named a first-team midseason all-American by the Associated Press… wide receiver Troy Franklin was selected to the second team. Both Powers-Johnson and Franklin were selected All Americans by The Athletic and Sporting News publications, as well. Oregon State Offensive Tackle Taliese Fuaga is AP first team O Line. Guard Tanner Miller is on the second team. Fuaga and Return Specialist Silas Bolden made The Athletic second team.

Washington’s Michael Penix Jr is first team quarterback

Oregon State senior Josh Green has been named to the watch list for the Ray Guy Award, which is given annually to college football's top punter.

Green has punted 19 times this season, averaging 40.6 yards per attempt.

Number 9 Oregon hosts Washington State Saturday at 12:30 here on KBND. 

Number 12 Oregon State has their bye this week. 

Number 5 Washington hosts Arizona State

NFL:

Seattle has elevated wide receiver Cody Thompson from the practice squad to the 53 player roster yesterday . The Seahawks are back home against the Cardinals Sunday.

Signs point to San Francisco Running Back Christian McCaffery ready to play after suffering a rib injury in the loss to Cleveland. The 49ers are on the road in Minnesota Monday.
