Ducks and College Game Day in SLC for Utah Game

College Football:  

Number 11 Oregon State is at Arizona this Saturday Night. The 6 and 1 Beavers are already bowl-eligible at the earliest time in program history and are looking to move into a New Year’s 6 bowl if they can continue the winning ways. The last Bowl game of that caliber was in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl…with coach Jonathon Smith at QB. 

Number 8 Oregon is in Salt Lake City this Saturday for a big matchup with 13th ranked Utah. ESPN College Game Day will be at there to preview the matchup. We know the Utes won’t have quarterback Cam Rising. It was announced over the weekend he won’t play this season after suffering a severe knee injury in last year’s Rose Bowl. Linebacker Lander Barton, last season’s Pac 12 Defensive Freshman of the year is also done for the season.

Number 5 Washington 

NFL: 

The Seahawks undrafted rookie Jake Bobo’s TD catch has been one of the most talked about plays from Sunday. Seattle hosts the Browns this Sunday. Cleveland QB Deshaun Watson will start according tocoach Kevin Stefanski although will be listed as day to day.

Basketball:

NBA- Now that the Trail Blazers have their final roster, Portland coach Chauncey Billups is getting his squad ready for the regular season opener tomorrow night in Los Angeles against the Clippers. This season will also feature the NBA Cup in-season tournament with that first game next Friday November 3rd for the Blazers.

High School- we’re in the last week of the regular season for Fall sports

Girls soccer: Bend at Redmond, Crook County at Madras

Boys soccer: Madras at Crook County, 

Volleyball: Culver at Blanchet, 

Cross-country: Bend, Caldera, Mountain View, Redmond, Ridgeview, Summit compete in the 5A Intermountain Conference Championships at Juniper Golf Course in Redmond.
