Latest CFB Poll Rankings...Seahawks Win...Blazers Lose

College Football:  

Oregon moved up to number 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll and number 7 in the Coaches Poll after the decisive 35 to 6 victory over new number 18 Utah. The Ducks take on California back at Autzen this Saturday.

Oregon State fell back to number 16 in the AP Poll and number 19 in the Coaches Poll after the 27-24 loss to Arizona. Now OSU goes to Colorado this Saturday. 

Washington stayed ranked number 5 in both polls after beating Stanford. Next up for the Huskies is a top 25 match up with 24th ranked USC.

Since Washington State beat the Beavers over a month ago they’ve lost 4 straight. The Cougs will try to right the ship hosting Stanford this Saturday.

Tomorrow the first College Football Playoff ranking will be released. It will be interesting to see if Oregon or Texas is the top rated 1-loss team.

NFL: 

The Seahawks used a total team effort to come back to beat the Browns 24 to 20 including a game winning touchdown pass from Geno Smith to Jaxon Smith-Njigba late in the game. Seattle is now in first place in the NFC West heading to Baltimore this Sunday.

San Francisco gave up first place in the division after going down 31 to 17 to the Bengals for their third straight loss. Brock Purdy threw two interceptions and led the team in rushing which was not part of the game plan with Christian McCaffery getting in the endzone twice but was held to only 54 yards.

Basketball:

NBA- The Trail Blazers lost to Philadelphia last night getting blown out 126 to 98. Shaedon Sharpe led Portland on the road with 20 points. Rookie Scoot Henderson managed only 4 points with 3 assists. The 0 and 3 Blazers are in Toronto for a 4:30 tip-off today against the Raptors.
