CFB Rankings...Seahawks Blown Out...Blazers Snap Win Streak

College Football:

Oregon remained ranked number 6 in the Associated Press and Coaches polls after the blowout over Cal …The Ducks face a USC team this Saturday that is out of both rankings after the loss to Washington.

Number 5 is where Washington stays, and will probably be at that spot when the Playoff Rankings are released tomorrow afternoon.

The Beavers moved up to 12th in the AP poll and 13th in the Coaches after hanging on to win in Boulder. OSU is back home for Stanford this week.

NFL: 

The Seahawks were blasted by Baltimore 37 to 3. Seattle managed only 151 yards of offense while giving up 515. The loss drops the ‘Hawks to 5 and 3 and into a tie for first in the West with the idle 49ers.

Basketball:

NBA:

Portland lost 112 to 100 Memphis in a regular season game last night, after beating the Grizzlies in an NBA Cup game on Friday. The 3 and 4 Blazers are in Sacramento Wednesday.

CBB: Regular season non-conference play tips-off today

The Oregon men play Georgia at 1:30 from Las Vegas. The UO women play Northern Arizona at 6 at Matthew Knight Arena. 

The Oregon State men play Linfield today at 2:30. The OSU Women play Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 5:30. Both games are at Gill Colliseum.

Soccer:

The Portland Thorns season ended in upset fashion and they won’t be able to defend their championship after losing 1 - Nil in Extra Time to Gotham FC in the NWSL Semifinals yesterday.

Local: 

High School playoffs:

Sisters is the 3A Volleyball Champ. The Outlaws' last state title was in 2017. Bend is the 5A runner up. The 7th seeded Lava Bears made a big run to get to the championship game. 

Summit is the Girls 5A Cross Country Champion, repeating the feat yet again. The Summit Boys were runner-up. In 4A, Crook County Boys were runner-up. 

Soccer State Tournaments, the Summit Boys and the Caldera Girls play in 5A Semifinals tomorrow. The Sisters Girls are in the 3A Semifinal tomorrow.

Mountain View and Summit football advanced to the 5A quarterfinals Friday.
