College Football:
The College Football Playoff Rankings were released yesterday.
Oregon State dropped to number 16. Oregon is still number 6.
The biggest news is Washington moving to number 4, after beating ranked teams the last three weeks.
The Beavers are looking to foil Oregon’s trip to next week’s Pac 12 championship game. The Ducks are favored to win by just under two touchdowns on Friday.
Kickoff is at 5:30 in Eugene. Coverage starts at 3:30 on KBND with all the post-game reaction afterwards.
The Apple Cup is Saturday afternoon at 1 with the Huskies favored by over two touchdowns. Washington is already in the Pac 12 title game.
NBA:
The Trail Blazers lost their eighth game in a row falling 120 to 107 in Phoenix last night in an In-Season Tournament game. Jerami Grant had 26 points to lead the Blazers. They’re back at the Moda Center tonight to host the Jazz at 7. Portland also announced they will assign Scoot Henderson to the G League Rip City Remix for a conditioning assignment to prepare for a return to the regular roster.

The Oregon Women beat Nevada 76 to 47 last night to start their three game road trip.
Today- The Oregon State Men take on 13th ranked Baylor at 4.

NFL:
The Seahawks are hoping Geno Smith won’t suffer any setbacks in recovering from a triceps injury in Sunday’s loss to the Rams…one that coach Pete Carrol called ‘the most disappointing’. It’s a huge game for Seattle when the NFC West-leading 49ers come to Lumen Field tomorrow night. It’s the first of two meetings in three weeks for the rivals.
San Francisco got bad news this week when an MRI confirmed Talanoa Hufanga did tear his ACL on Sunday. The All-Pro safety will miss the rest of the season. The 49ers are a touchdown road favorite.

High School playoffs- Mountain View will take on Wilsonville in the Football 5A Final this Friday.
