OSU WBB Falls To Stanford...OSU Baseball, UO Softball Blowouts

College Baseball:

6th ranked Oregon State season opener at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field got off to a great start. The Beavers pounded North Dakota State 19 to 7. Game 2 of the four game series is today. The first pitch is at 4:05 p.m

Oregon opens a series against UC Santa Barbara today at PK Park.

College Softball:

Number 25 Oregon shutout Mount St. Mary's 17 to 0 yesterday in the inaugural Jane Sanders Classic. The second game of the doubleheader was postponed due to weather though.

Oregon State is at Judi Garman Classic this weekend, hosted by Cal State Fullerton today

College Hoops:

The number 11 Oregon State Women fell 67 to 63 to number 4 Stanford last night. They play Cal tomorrow.

Cal beat the Oregon Women 62 to 59 last night. The Ducks play Stanford tomorrow.

NBA:

The Trail Blazers are mired in a 9 game losing streak and went 0 for February. A lot of players are out with injury. Scoot Henderson will not make the upcoming three-game road trip sitting out with an abdominal injury. He’s missed the last three games. Deandre Ayton is doubtful with a hand sprain. The Blazers are in Memphis tonight. Tip-off against the Grizzlies is at 5.

NFL:

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and Washington QB Michael Penix Jr are scheduled to throw tomorrow at the Combine.

Soccer: The Portland Timbers welcome D.C. United to Providence Park tomorrow night at 7:30

Local:

State Basketball tournaments this week - Class 1A Tourney in Baker, the number 4 seed Trinity Lutheran boys are in the semi-final game against Crane this afternoon. 

The number 8 Madras boys host 9 seeded North Marion and number 14 Crook County travels to Seaside in the 4A-playoff opening round. 

5A opening round - Summit hosts Canby, Mountain View plays Crater, Caldera vs Woodburn, Redmond against La Salle Prep tomorrow

5A Girls tomorrow - Mountain View hosts Crescent Valley, Redmond takes on Putnam, Summit vs Wilsonville, Caldera against Crater.

The number 7 Madras girls greet  number 10 Seaside while 13 Crook County girls travel to Cascade.
