Blazers Big Comeback Win...OSU MBB Out Of Pac 12 Tourney

NFL:

Yesterday was the first day of the new league year with several more contract signings becoming official.

The Seahawks have signed former Oregon tight end Pharaoh Brown along with three other new players. Seattle is also the redhot rumor to trade for Chicago quarterback Justin Fields.

San Francisco lost out on signing veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks to the Dallas Cowboys. Reports yesterday had Kendricks signing with the 49ers but Dallas came it at the last minute apparently. The 9ers are looking to shore up linebacker after Dre Greenlaw’s ACL injury during the Super Bowl.

NBA:

The Trail Blazers beat Atlanta 106 to 102 last night. It was a big comeback at the Moda Center with the home team getting down by 16 in the first half before storming back in the third quarter to take the lead. It was close the rest of the way with Portland hanging on for their 19th win on the season. It was another huge game for Deandre Ayton with 33 points and 19 rebounds. Anfernee Simons led the team with 36. Jerami Grant didn’t play and Scoot Henderson had limited minutes.

College Hoops:

Oregon State is out of the Pac 12 tournament after losing 67 to 57 to UCLA. The Beavers couldn’t come back after a slow start in the first half. OSU’s season ends at 13 and 19 overall. They went 5 and 15 in the conference.
