(New York, NY) -- Wall Street closed with stocks lower Thursday. It comes as investors are keeping their eyes on crude prices amid a standoff between the U.S. and Iran. Elsewhere, Stocks of Blue Owl Capital, Blackstone and Apollo Global Management all saw a dip. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 267 points to 49-395. The S&P 500 dropped 19 points to 68-61. The Nasdaq lost 70 points to 22-682.

(Undated) -- Amazon has overtaken Walmart as the world's top company based on their respective sales in 2025. Walmart held the title the last 13 years, reporting an annual revenue of over 713-billion dollars, which was roughly four billion less than that of Amazon. Amazon's revenue has increased at almost ten times that of Walmart over the past decade.

(Santa Clara, CA) -- Nvidia is reportedly in talks to make a big investment in OpenAI. CNBC says the chip giant is in discussions to invest up to 30-billion dollars in the artificial intelligence company to increase its value. The report says the 30-billion-dollar funding round is separate from the 100-billion-dollar infrastructure agreement that OpenAI and Nvidia announced in September. Sources add the deal has not been finalized and the details are still subject to change.

(Washington, DC) -- President Trump has issued an executive order protecting the herbicide glyphosate, used in the weed killer Roundup. Trump issued the order earlier this week, directing the Secretary of Agriculture to ensure the U.S. has a sufficient supply of glyphosate-based herbicides. The order also states the producers of such herbicides should given "immunity" in accordance with the Defense Production Act. This comes the same week Monsanto agreed to a multi-billion-dollar settlement with thousands of plaintiffs who allege Roundup caused cancer. A judge still has to approve the settlement.

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Los Angeles County is suing popular online gaming platform Roblox. The county claims the company has failed to protect children from inappropriate content and child predators. Roblox is facing similar lawsuits across the U.S., including one filed in California in December that includes a mother in L.A. County. The new lawsuit, announced this morning, argues children have been repeatedly exposed to sexually explicit content, grooming and exploitation on the platform. Roblox is accused of not effectively moderating user behavior or doing an adequate job in verifying the ages of its users. County officials also claim Roblox engaged in unfair and deceptive business practices.
>>West Virginia Files Consumer Protection Lawsuit Against Apple
(Charleston, WV) -- Apple is facing a new lawsuit from the state of West Virginia over allegations that it failed to curb child sexual abuse materials on iOS devices and iCloud services. Republican West Virginia Attorney General John "JB" McCuskey filed the consumer protection action and accused Apple of prioritizing privacy branding as well as its own business interests over child safety. The state is seeking statutory and punitive damages, and injunctive relief forcing Apple to implement effective child sexual abuse material detection. Other big tech companies including Google, Microsoft, and Dropbox have been proactive using systems like PhotoDNA to combat such material.
