He will be discussing what Washington can do to ensure the health and well being of Oregon seniors and protect social security and medicare.

The roundtable discussion will be held at the Bend Senior Center's library beginning at 4 P.M.

This is not open to the general public.

The head of the National Committee to Protect Social Security and Medicare, Max Richtman will also be there for the discussion.

Merkley will also be traveling to Portland, Eugene, Medford and Corvallis.
