City of Bend Wants Public Feedback on Urban Growth Boundary

We are still in the throes of deciding what the city will need for future growth and the city wants feedback.

Brian Rankin, the city's UGB Project Manager says they have an online tool where residents can let them know which goals are important to them.

"This is the first time we are using this product.  What it will do is it will allow people to see the goals and prioritize them in a more detailed way.  For example, it will ask how do you feel about more housing downtown or how about producing more opportunities for biking and walking."

The online survey is at www.bendoregon.gov/bendugb

The city is also holding community meetings this week on the UGB.  This wil  be this Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.  Wednesday's meeting is at the Bend Municipal Court Building on 15th Street and Thursday's is at Bend Parks and Rec.
