Police recovered drugs and drug packaging materials on a Prineville man.
Wednesday, January 28, Crook County Sheriff's Office stopped a maroon colored Honda Civic for a traffic violation. During the following investigation of the driver, Mikel Harris, a K9 deputy with a drug detection dog named Jett came, and found controlled substances.
Deputies recovered methamphetamine, drug packaging material, digital scales with residue of meth, money ... and an AK-47 rifle in the car.
Harris was arrested for possession, delivery and manufacturing of meth. He's being held at Crook County Jail.
