BEND, OR -- Investigators continue to look for a man they say broke into a home east of Bend Monday and shot the resident.  According to the Deschutes County Sheriff's office, 40-year old Todd Dickerson returned home for lunch and was confronted by a man in a ski mask. Dickerson called 911 just after noon to report he'd been shot in the shoulder by the intruder.  He was taken to St. Charles Medical Center with non life threatening wounds.

Despite an extensive area search by three law enforcement agencies and K-9 units, a suspect has not been identified and was only described as a 6-foot tall male in a black ski mask. Neighbors near the Wickiup Road home received robo-calls, urging them to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.  Investigators ask anyone with information on the case to call the Sheriff's office at 541-693-6911.
