PORTLAND, OR -- An E. Coli outbreak in Oregon and Washington has led Chipotle to shut down restaurants in the Portland and Seattle areas. Jonathan Modie, with the Oregon Public Health Division, says they're still tracking down the source of the outbreak. "We want people who have eaten at a Chipotle anytime between October 14 and October 23 and have become ill with vomiting or bloody diarrhea to see their healthcare provider."

Modie says they expect the number of people sickened by E. Coli to increase, since not everyone gets sick enough to report the disease. The restaurant chain is waiting for approval from the health department before reopening. 

Chipotle's first Bend location opened last month, but so far it has not been tied to the illness.
