REDMOND, OR -- A convicted sex offender, wanted for more than four years, was arrested over the weekend in Redmond. Michael McDonald allegedly tried to allude police on icy roads Saturday, but eventually crashed near the north Redmond Dutch Bros coffee stand.
McDonald failed to register as a sex offender over four years ago, and investigators believed he had fled the state.
The 60-year-old was arrested Saturday for reckless driving, resisting arrest and a number of other new charges, as well as outstanding warrants from Oregon and Arizona.
