LOWELL, OR -- A La Pine woman was injured in a crash southeast of Eugene, Monday morning. Oregon State Police troopers responded to the single-vehicle accident on Highway 58 east of Lowell, at about 6:45 a.m.

Investigators believe 24-year-old Jessie Shader was eastbound when her SUV left the highway for an unknown reason. They say she was able to get out of the car before it caught fire.

Shader was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
