BEND, OR -- The Forest Service plans to conduct several controlled burns, this week. In the Ochoco National Forest, specialists will work in the Upper Beaver units near the Rager Ranger Station, beginning Tuesday.
Two prescribed burns are also scheduled for the Crescent Ranger District. Crews will ignite a unit of 221-acres southwest of Crescent Tuesday, then another 155 acres, Wednesday.
