La Pine Pair Charged With Drug, Weapons Crimes

LA PINE, OR -- Two people face charges related to drugs, guns and stolen property after a bust at a La Pine home. Deschutes County deputies, along with the Street Crimes Unit and Central Oregon Drug Enforcement team executed a search warrant at a home on Big Meadow Drive, last week. The bust was in response to citizen complaints about suspected drug activity.

They seized more than 30 grams of Meth, user amounts of Heroin, six firearms and a motorcycle reported stolen in 2014 from Clark County, Washington. One of the guns was recently stolen during a burglary from Bend, and had the serial numbers filed off.

Investigators say 51-year-old Sharryl Anderson (pictured) was already in jail on unrelated charges. She's now accused of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle and various drug charges. They've charged 68-year-old Bob Lauber with similar crimes; he was cited in lieu of custody.
