SISTERS, OR -- Sisters City Councilors named their top pick for city manager, Wednesday evening.
Brant Kucera is currently the City Manager in Cannon Beach, Oregon. He has 17 years of upper-level city management experience and has worked in Pennsylvania and Michigan. He's been the Cannon Beach City Manager for two and a half years.
Kucera is expected to take over in Sisters in July, pending contract negotiations. He'll replace Rick Allen who has served as Interim City Manager since April 2016 when Andrew Gorayeb was forced to resign.
