EUGENE, OR -- A Redmond man was sentenced to 80 months in federal prison, Wednesday, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to court documents, when 31-year-old Braxton Michael Monson, Jr. was arrested in Redmond in January 2014, he was in possession of an AR-15-style rifle along with ammunition, drugs, scales and cash.
