PRINEVILLE, OR -- State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspected poacher. On Saturday, OSP was notified of a dead buck deer north of Prineville, about a mile and a half from McKay Creek.
The deer was shot with a rifle during archery season, and a portion of one back-strap was removed, while the rest of the animal was left to waste.
