Deputies responded to an alarm at the Washington Federal Bank branch in La Pine, early Sunday morning. They discovered the drive-through ATM had been heavily damaged, just before 1 a.m.; a forklift was found parked, with the engine still running, in a nearby alley. Investigators believe the forklift was stolen from Ace Hardware and used to dislodge the ATM. However, It remained intact and no money was taken.
