PAULINA, OR -- Southeast Paulina Highway was closed for several hours Friday night, after a pickup and trailer rolled, blocking most of the road.
The Crook County Sheriff’s Office believes fatigue caused the Troutdale man to hit a guardrail and fishtail, which led to the truck and trailer overturning while still attached. The family of six suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
After learning appropriate tow equipment wasn't available for the remote scene, local rancher Phil Hartzell used a piece of heavy equipment to right the truck and trailer and clear the highway.
