Second Oregon Location Opens for In-N-Out Burger

BEND, OR -- In-N-Out Burger's second Oregon location is celebrating their Grand Opening today in Grants Pass.

The popular burger chain's Vice President of Operations, Denny Warnick, says Oregon growth will be slow and steady. "We don't have any specific sites yet in Oregon, beyond Grants Pass, but we are actually going to be looking around, our real estate team is always looking around for opportunities."

Warnick says Oregon has been a great place to expand. "Everyone in Oregon has been very welcoming. We're enthusiastic about more opportunities in Oregon. None of them will be really soon, but we would like more restaurants in Oregon."

Warnick says, even though they're not too far from each other, having stores in both Grants Pass and Medford is a great opportunity, and the company is looking forward to continuing to expand North up I-5. "It's a great thing to have two restaurants up there, and we'll be able to serve more customers in the end, rather than just with the one, and I think that, certainly, both stores, there are enough In-n-Out fans up there to support both."

In-n-Out burger was started in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California, and now boasts 326 locations across the Pacific Northwest and greater Southwest and Warnick says adding Oregon to the states the restaurant chain serves has been an excellent move for the company, but he stops short of saying Bend is next. "Growth in Oregon will probably continue to be somewhat slow and measured, and we do hear from our customers, they wish we'd hurry up a little bit, and we're definitely working on it. We love being in Oregon."

In-n-Out opened their first Oregon location in Medford just over two years ago. The new Grants Pass location can be found right off Interstate 5, the Redwood Highway exit, on Morgan Lane.
