Redmond-Area Crash Sends Three To The Hospital

REDMOND, OR -- Speed and alcohol may have contributed to a weekend crash on the western edge of Redmond. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash at Helmholtz and Antler, early Saturday morning.

Investigators say 29-year-old Petera Michelle Schile crashed into a large tree on the side of the road, just after midnight. Two people were able to get out of the car on their own, but the third had to be extricated by Redmond Fire personnel. Medics took all three to St. Charles Redmond with non-life threatening injuries.

Schile was cited for DUII and additional charges are under consideration.
