BEND, OR -- Bend-based Partners In Care says an employee’s email account was compromised, late last year, and may have put some patients’ personal information at risk.

An investigation led to the discovery, last month, that the employee had fallen victim to an email phishing attack, allowing access to the account between November 17 and December 12, 2018. Compromised information could include patient names, dates of birth and sensitive medical information.

Partners In Care is notifying those affected by the breach and says there’s no evidence the information has been misused.
