MADRAS, OR -- A downtown Madras law office was nearly destroyed by fire, Saturday night.
Jefferson County Fire crews arrived at the corner of 5th and D Street, just before 6:30 p.m., and found smoke and flames coming from the two-story building. They knocked down the fire and say no injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Fire officials tell KBND News it is suspicious in nature and has been turned over to law enforcement.
