BEND, OR -- A bicyclist was seriously injured in a northeast Bend crash, Thursday evening. According to police, 51-year-old Darron Huskey was riding a bike, pulling a bike trailer, against traffic on Third Street, when he was struck by a Porsche, just before 5 p.m. Investigators say 73-year-old Robin Lisk made a right turn from Webster on to Third, and collided with Huskey, who was was traveling south in the northbound lanes. 

Huskey was not wearing a helmet. He was taken by ambulance to St. Charles Bend; Lisk was not hurt. NE Third was closed for about an hour for the investigation, which continues, Friday.
