REDMOND, OR -- A fire between the first and ninth holes of Eagle Ridge Golf Course drew quite a crowd, Friday night. Redmond Fire responded to Eagle Crest just before 10:30 and found a large pile of juniper limbs on fire, with flames spreading to brush, grass and trees over about a quarter acre. Crews quickly knocked down the blaze before it reached any structures.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
