Health Authority Issues Vaping Guidelines

SALEM, OR -- The Oregon Health Authority is urging the governor to implement new vaping guidelines. With two deaths and 3 other people recovering from what appears to be a vaping-related illness, the Oregon Health Authority is asking for a six month ban on vaping products and displays. The OHS’s Jonathan Modie says they are also encouraging people to quit vaping. The governor will review the guidelines and make a decision about which guidelines will be implemented.
