WASHINGTTON, D.C. -- Oregonians who receive Food Stamps may see an increase in their monthly amount. On Tuesday, the federal government revised its budget numbers, and that means an increase for some of Oregon’s 911-thousand Food Stamp recipients. Jennifer Grentz with the Department of Human Services says if you currently receive SNAP benefits, those benefits will not decrease. Grentz says they do not send notices to recipients, and you should contact your local DHS office if you have questions.
