Commissioners Consider Hiring New Code Enforcement Officer

BEND, OR -- The Deschutes County Board of Commissioners will take up a request this morning to hire another Code Enforcement Officer. Commissioner Tony DeBone says the complaints are checked out and are public information. DeBone says there are some complaints that are allowed to be anonymous, for example, odor complaints that may be linked to illegal marijuana grows. DeBone says in that case, the information is still checked out but the reporting party is not identified.
