SALEM, OR -- The Oregon State Lottery is getting ready to release a new sports betting app. While Oregon’s lottery has been in the sports betting arena for many years, the lottery will soon be launching a mobile app called “ScoreBoard.” Oregon Lottery’s Matt Shelby says Oregonians are already utilizing betting apps which is legal as a player as long as that business is not based in the state. Shelby says they will try to bring in betting revenue that currently goes out of state to betting companies.
