BEND, OR -- This week marks the 25th Anniversary of the Deschutes County Circuit Court’s Volunteer Mediation Program. Program Coordinator Celeste Hasbrouck says they’ll celebrate the event at noon on Friday at the courthouse. Hasbrouck says the mediation program resolves 65-per cent of small claims cases and 90-per cent of tenant landlord disputes. After the celebration, the court will offer a free community training titled, Effective Conflict Resolution Techniques.
