Drug Bust In Crook County; Three Arrested

PRINEVILLE, OR -- Three Central Oregon men have been arrested in connection with a large, illegal marijuana grow in Crook county. The search warrants were issued at Juniper Acres, 10 miles east of the Alfalfa store on Tuesday October 8th. Lieutenant Jason Maniscalco with CODE, the Central Oregon Drug team, says the investigation turned up 1-thousand marijuana plants, 200 pounds of processed marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, 9 firearms and 12-thousand dollars cash. Three men were arrested. 39-year-old Shawn Burke of Prineville…29-year old James Lamkin of Prineville and 39-year-old Lee Kennedy of Bend. They face felony charges of Manufacture, Possession and Distribution of Controlled Substances.
