REDMOND, OR -- Redmond Mayor George Endicott met recently with representatives of the Hemp industry. He says there are hemp growing farms spreading throughout Central Oregon and they have the potential to make serious money. Endicott says the people he met with are planning to build a 7-thousand square foot, state-of-the-art processing facility in Redmond’s industrial area. He says the plant will focus on CBD products. Endicott says one problem associated with Hemp is the odor…both when the plants reach maturity on the farm and later during processing. Endicott says the plant would process CBD.
