BEND, OR -- On Monday, October 7th Bend Police began an investigation into reports that an adult male was inappropriately reaching out to and communicating with a minor female on social media for the purpose of inducing the minor to engage in sexual contact. The adult male was identified as Jay Robert Turley. On Friday morning October 18th Bend Police executed a search warrant at a home in Bend where they contacted Turley. Evidence was located and seized and Turley was taken into custody. He is jailed on one count of Luring a Minor.
