BEND, OR -- The 2019-20 ice season opened yesterday at The Pavilion. The season is expected to run through early April. Julie Brown at Bend Parks and Recreation, says there are advanced programs and workshops being added this year and of course a lot of ice skating options, including open skate, family skate, parent-tot skate and “Cheap Skates.” Brown says they have also expanded hockey and curling activities including adding a lunch time curling league.
