Poll Shows Drivers Attitudes About Safety And Technology Features In The Car

BEND, OR -- A new poll shows many drivers think it takes more skill to drive today because of new safety and technology features. Derek Wing with PEMCO Insurance, the company that polled drivers in the Northwest says drivers like backup cameras and blind spot protection. He says they don’t think lane departure warning systems are helpful. The poll also showed while most drivers use new safety features…many more drivers, 78-per cent…think they could drive just as well without them.
