BEND, OR -- A Bend Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO) received information late last week, regarding a Bend-Lapine student providing LSD to another student. During the investigation, Joshua Rivas was identified as the suspect and agreed to sell LSD to a Detective who was posing as a high-school aged student. The SRO and Detectives contacted Rivas after he arrived in an area of south Highway 97.  Rivas was found to be in possession of eight suspected LSD tabs and was armed with a large knife.  Rivas was taken into custody and is jailed on charges of selling LSD to a minor.
