Teen Vaping Still On The Rise

SALEM, OR -- The Oregon Health Authority finds teen vaping is increasing faster than previously reported. One in four 11th graders vapes and the the number of 11th graders vaping marijuana has increased four times. State health officer Dr. Dean Sidelinger says they’re very worried about the trend. He says kids think vaping is safer than cigarettes, but the lung illnesses and deaths connected to vaping show it’s not a safe alternative.
