Two Arrested After Drive-By Shooting

BEND, OR -- On Tuesday night Bend Police office responded to reports of shots fired in the 900-block of NE Butler Market Road.  Callers reported they saw a gray pickup speed away. When officers arrived, they found several bullet holes in the front door and bullet casings near the home. Early Wednesday, a State Trooper saw the suspect vehicle, a stop was made. and 19 year old Joseph William Triplett was identified as a suspect and jailed.  Later, police obtained video surveillance which showed two suspects in the truck and the investigation led to the arrest of 19 year old Blake Riley Simms. Triplett faces charges of Delivery of Cocaine and Conspiracy. Simms is charged with Delivery of Cocaine, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing and other charges. Photo is of Blake Riley Simms.
