BEND, OR -- This weekend is time to fall back an hour. The end of daylight savings is on Saturday and it comes with an extra hour of sleep and the slow disappearance of early-evening sunlight. Getting an extra hour of sleep might seem nice, but Shelley Snow with ODOT, says it can actually make you more tired due to a change in sleeping habits which could make you drowsy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says 18-percent of adults get less than seven hours of sleep, despite most people needing between 7 and 9 hours night for a healthy sleep routine.
