BEND, OR -- Deschutes County has openings on two of its advisory committees. The Project Wildfire Steering Committee implements strategies to lessen the negative impacts of natural disasters in Deschutes county. The county’s Noxious Weed Board also has an opening. The board identifies the priorities that need to be addressed under the county’s noxious weed program. Anyone interested in serving on either committee has to submit an application no later than Friday, December 6th. Contact the Deschutes County Forester for more information.
