Sheriff Needs Search And Rescue Volunteers

BEND, OR -- The Deschutes County Sheriff is looking for Search and Rescue volunteers. Applicants must be 21 and are required to complete 100 hours of Search and Rescue Training.  The training begins March 30th and volunteers graduate in May. In addition to classroom training on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, there is outdoor training on Saturdays. Applications are online at Deschutes-dot-org-slash-jobs and must be submitted by January 17th.
