BEND, OR -- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from Noon today until 4-in the morning on Thanksgiving.  Central Oregon could see 4-to-9-inches of snow with winds gusting to 35-miles an hour. The heaviest snow is expected on the east slopes of the Cascades.  Travel could be difficult in our area with blowing snow reducing visibility. The heaviest snowfall is expected from 4-this afternoon until midnight with snowfall rates of one half to one inch of snow per hour.
