BEND, OR--- Mt. Bachelor annnouces it will be operating Little Pine Chairlift for "HOPEning weekend from 9AM --4PM. In addition to skiing and riding, there will be a season kick-off celebration starting at 12PM in the West Village base area Friday. The day will include activities at Woodward Mountain Hike Park, walk-up tubing, scavenger hunts, giveaways, music, on-snow family activities, hot treats and a winter toast. All West Village services will be open, including our Nordic Center with 10km of groomed trails. Single day lift tickets for Little Pine lift can be purchased in advance online for $39 at Tickets for children 5 and under are free. 


Mt. Bachelor plans to remain open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Operations beyond Sunday will "be determined later this weekend based on an evaluation of the snow depth and the weather forecast."



Since crews are currently preparing the mountain for opening, which includes grooming operations to track-pack the snow, the Winter Uphill Travel Policy is now in effect. This means ALL OF MT. BACHELOR IS CLOSED TO HIKING with the exception of the Cinder Cone at West Village.



Please also be aware that Mt. Bachelor will be completely closed Thanksgiving Day, including our call center. Please do not visit the mountain on Thanksgiving, as there will be no staff and no services available.
