BEND, OR -- A hit and run wreck on a roundabout Friday afternoon led to the arrest of a Bend man. Police responded to a report of the wreck at Southeast 15^th Street at Southeast Golden Gate Place. Witnesses said a man in a Honda drove the wrong way into the roundabout and hit a Jeep driven by a 52 year old Bend woman. She was injured and taken to St Charles. The man fled the scene. About a half hour after the wreck a Bend officer spotted the suspect near Southeast 27^th and Stevens.  Police arrested 41 year old Harry Clifford Shearer who was hospitalized and later cited for Felony Hit and Run, DUII/alcohol and Attempting To Elude.
