SALEM, OR -- The Oregon State Marine Board is taking public comment on a petition they received last week. The petition asks that boats with electric motors be allowed on North and South Twin Lakes at a slow, no wake speed. Written comments will be accepted until 5-p.m. Wednesday, January 8th. The comments can be emailed to the Oregon State Marine Board. The board will discuss the petition when they meet, January 22nd in Salem.
