BEND, OR -- Former Gubernatorial candidate Knute Buehler posted a video on his website Tuesday announcing he will seek the Republican Party nomination in the 2nd Congressional District. Incumbent Congressman Greg Walden announced earlier this fall he won’t seek re-election. Republican State Senator Cliff Bentz of Ontario has already filed for the position. Former State Senatior Jason Atkinson says he is running for Walden's seat in the 2020 primary. In the video, Buehler says he will be a conservative voice for the people and the place he calls home.
